We’ve received some emails from a few users out there and they have complained that some of the things that we feature aren’t actually “gadgets”. We want to be very clear to everybody out there that we really don’t care. We’re joking a little bit but remember that we feature lifestyle items and don’t require our features to have electricity pulsing through them. G4G is dedicated to bringing you the coolest new products and want you to see everything that is awesome out there. Why do we preface this feature with that rant? Because we’re featuring a pair of shoes. Do these shoes have electric sensors built into them that tell you how many miles you have walked in a given day? No. Do they have sensors built into the toe area that send you a text to let you know when your toenails have become too long? No. These are just a nice pair shoes that we thought you all should check out.
At a total weight of 7.9 ounces, the Adidas Pure Boost line of shoes are pretty light which is good news for a lot of us with knee problems (too heavy of running shoes seem to kill our knees). Adidas have also put their energy returning “boost” material into the meat of these shoes which means that they try and make running as easy as possible. Adidas claims that this material holds thousands of energy capsules that release every time your foot hits the ground. We can’t speak directly to that science but we can speak to the design of these bad boys. You have two directions to go when looking at anything that has camouflage. You will either end up with the full Walmart (complete with a rat tail) or something extremely tasteful that gets you compliments.
