Every guy has that t-shirt in their closet that has managed to keep itself around for way too many years. We aren’t talking about a year or two but that one sports team shirt you have had for over 20 years. Women don’t always understand how or why we are able to keep a t-shirt in our closet for that many years. It has begun to fade but we believe the shirt has just begun to be broken in properly. Men and women both don’t realize that guys are actually being stylish when we keep those shirts because they have managed to become vintage. We don’t have the option of waiting 20 years for our shirts to become comfortable though so a Kansas City company has helped us out and their name is Charlie Hustle.
We went over the reasons why you should love vintage shirts but G4G is going to explain why Charlie Hustle is the place to go for vintage shirts. They dig back into the past and you will definitely see a Kansas City flavor to their t-shirts but don’t get them confused as a local company. Charlie Hustle has shirts that go back to the classic rivalry of the Lakers and Celtics, the famous George Brett pine tar game, and who can forget the famous running back for da Bears (The Fridge!)? Charlie Hustle just recently launched a KickStarter campaign so it will just be a short amount of time before their name is known from coast to coast. They have launched this campaign in a partnership with Negro League Baseball and will be creating t-shirts that commemorate legends like Josh Gibson, Satchel Paige, and the Kansas City Monarchs. The partnership was made in heaven because Charlie Hustle is able to tap into that vintage feel that will do the Negro Leagues justice (just search the Pittsburgh Crawfords if you don’t know what we are talking about). They already have 12 designs done that you can select from if you pick the right pledge to make to KickStarter. They make their shirts with high quality threads and the best part is they’re comfortable.
See the links below and you can contribute to their KickStarter campaign or purchase clothes from their website. One more thing, Gadgets 4 Guys hopes that all of our readers notice we selected to place one of the vintage shirts Charlie Hustle has that highlights the Kansas Jayhawks historic 1988 national championship win. Rock Chalk.
