How does the average guy compete with the sensitive guy that recites poetry and knows everything you can about wine? You have to take advantage of the tools in front of you and in this case we mean that quite literally. While you might not be able to tell a girl what Pinot is good to pair with a steak but you can create some wine centered DIY projects that will wow people left and right (including the girl you are trying to impress). So we found this cool DIY wine rack that a well known DIYer did and it gives a very modern look to any kitchen you place it in.
We will summarize how this DIY wine rack was put together without repeating the step by step guide that the creator already did. Also, please remember that any DIY projects should give credit where credit is due because this person was nice enough to explain to the rest of us idiots how to do these manly projects (so don’t start trying to make money off of these commercially). So this DIYer saw a wine rack on a website that he really liked but didn’t like that the rack’s price being over $120. So they looked at the design of that wine rack and realized they could easily recreate that wine rack by utilizing PVC piping, a few screws, and some strong glue. After making all of the cuts to his PVC pipes, he sanded down the edges to avoid any awkward parts that might be sticking out (and possibly cut your delicate hands). After they sanded down the edges, they began to attach the pipes to one another. You will want to make sure that you arrange the pipes out the way that you will want to attach them. Having that visualization will make things easier for you in the long run.
Definitely follow the DIY instructions but feel free to change what you like and see if you can come up with some things on your own. One thing to consider trying is a way to attach the piping to maximize how tightly each one is attached. The DIYer expressed that they had a hard time getting the piping to attach tight enough to avoid a wobble. What can you come up with?
