For those of us that grew up in the Midwest, you probably grew up going to wonderful places like Cracker Barrel. Why was this place magical? It wasn’t just the fact that there were so many deep fried food options or that you could wander endlessly through their attached store. Could it be the amazing root beer floats that seemed to have been made from the nectar of gods? All of these could be contributing factors to the amazingness of Cracker Barrel but it really all boiled down to puzzles. From the golf tee game to cube wooden puzzle game, we enjoyed the challenge of trying to solve the game while rubbing it in our Dad’s face when we did better than him.
So it was because of this awesome childhood memory that when the website Generic Puzzles reached out to us about getting featured, we were more than ecstatic. They were established in 2013 and hit the ground running with very creative puzzles that could force people to spend hours trying to solve. The names of their puzzles include: Ancient Key, Battlefield, Charlestown Fortress, Galactic. So not only do they have very interesting games but they decided to take a course on bad ass naming conventions because each game sounds like a game Superman would want. A lot of their games are made from wood but you can also get combination games that expand just metal pieces. If you don’t consider yourself a genius and want something less intense, you can get games much simpler or that are made to be played with others. While some are escape type of puzzles, you might also want an interlocking game so it can sit on a side table in the living room. You will have people curious about the game and add a conversation piece to your decor. Check out Generic puzzles today and click here for image source.
