Every man remembers rolling through the streets of Compton, blaring Tupac with a middle finger up at the 5-0. Maybe it was actually well lit suburban street where cops had so much time on their hands they could bust those “punks” that were skateboarding. The one thing that was the common denominator was all men were playing Tupac as loud as they possibly could. Which is why it wasn’t a surprise that at Coachella last year when they did a 3D hologram of Tupac rapping, the world went nuts. The other generation might be relate when they saw the Princess Leia hologram asking Obi Wan for help. Everybody is counting down the days for 3D imaging to be a regular part of our lives.
i-Lusio is going to help kick that off if they manage to get their IndieGogo campaign fulfilled. i-Lusio is a device that syncs with your iPad and uses the app that they created to actually take an image and display it in 3D within the i-Lusio box. You can see from the picture above that they already create images pre-loaded within the app. There will be several more images that come in the future but you still have some fun options to look at as their library grows larger. A lot of people are wondering what you can do with the 3D image and the answer is, “nothing but it just looks awesome”. If you want to do something that will get a person’s attention at the next party you have, bring out the i-Lusio and show the schematics to a Star Wars Tie Fighter (we totally weren’t into Star Wars or anything). The one thing that Gadgets 4 Guys was worried about when we saw this cool little gadget is it would be way too expensive and not worth the money but the device only costs $44. It is probably worth that just to see friends faces whenever you break out the 3D schematics of the Millennium Falcon. Gadgets 4 Guys always tries to support any crowdfunded effort that backs a great tech gadget. Click here for image source and where to buy.
