The right pair of jeans is one of the few wardrobe choices that men actually value. There are several different tiers to the denim world and a certain group that shops within each one. You have the Faded Glory / Walmart jean shoppers that are typically older in age and simply looking for the best deal. It also helps that Faded Glory places an American flag on every pair of jeans to tug at the patriotic heartstrings of every male out there. The next tier are the middle of the road retail stores that are a bit more pricey but have a little bit better quality. This is the average mans shopping area because we haven’t taken the Faded Glory step but aren’t spending $250 on a pair of jeans. The final tier are the jeans that are securely tightened to whatever fancy shelf they reside on to prevent people from stealing them. These are the jeans that cost more than most peoples car payment and provide are usually so torn up that they only last 6 months. From our descriptions, you can probably tell which group we fall in which is why we decided to feature the Imperium Denim jeans.
This is a current KickStarter campaign for a new denim line that provides a very unique approach to jeans. The jeans are created from a method that utilizes recycled and renewable resources like recycled water bottles. Aside from the eco-friendliness of these jeans, Imperium Denim also does an awesome job of providing high levels of detail to their jeans. They provide a “pocket square” which allows people to quickly identify the brand and inspirational quotes on the inside of the left pocket. All of their tiny rivet buttons say “IDentify Yourself” which is very small and not very noticeable, but one of the little details we love.
