Men are defined by a lot of material things. If you have an electric or hybrid car, you probably care for the environment (and be more than willing to tell us why we should be too). If you’re a guy that likes to wear skinny jeans, most people would probably define you as a hipster. We need to get rid of that whole skinny jean trend because we tried a pair on once and it was frightening. When a man goes to a bar and places an order, he can quickly be defined by the selection of booze he goes with. If you go with a super cheap tequila, we will assume you’re still broke and in college. If you go with a top shelf brandy, we will assume that you are an old man that thinks black socks with sandals is a good look. Rum drinkers can fall on either side of the fence and be extremely tough and crazy or wear lip gloss. The one liquor that is going to always gain respect from any man standing around you is whiskey. Whiskey makes people think Scotland / Ireland which then makes you think Braveheart which then makes you think of one of the manliest men ever screaming, “FREEDOM!!”.
Fast forward to modern day and for some reason every bottle of whiskey requires every old English font and a dark bottle to be deemed “good”. It is time for whiskey to show some youth so new drinkers know you don’t have to own a rocking chair to rightfully drink whiskey. Kansas Clean Distilled Whiskey has modernized whiskey and is showing how many more people this liquor could appeal to with the right marketing (and tastes amazing). A lot of whiskies are made with grains like corn, barley or rye whereas Kansas Whiskey is made from amber winter wheat. What does that mean? It is a lighter whiskey and they describe why this is a good thing with this breakdown: Think of the difference between a corn muffin compared to a light crisp croissant. Basically you won’t feel like your eating a Chipotle burrito every time you take a sip of Kansas Whiskey. If you go to their website, Kansas Whiskey is very proud of the effort they put into designing the bottle and even selecting the correct font (rightfully so because the bottle looks amazing). The actual look of this bottle immediately tells you that this is not your father’s whiskey (or great great great grandfathers whiskey). The taste of this whiskey is the perfect combination of lightness with a new kind of whiskey bite at the end. The flexibility of this whiskey allows a drinker to go on the rocks or use a mixer (please make it a manly mixer though).
We are more than proud to support another local Kansas based business but it’s even nicer when they have such an awesome product to offer. If your liquor store doesn’t carry it, encourage them to do so. If you’re a liquor store owner, quit messing around and buy this stuff.
