There were a lot of disgusting things that we did in college that we’re still not proud of. We had the famous syrup chugging contest of ’08 that ended with multiple people moaning and groaning with stomach aches and sugar overload. There was the notorious betting incident of ’06 that had somebody taking a shot of whatever had been wrung out of a bar rag that successfully made everybody in the bar dry heave as they watched. Finally, to finish the college years off right, we had the hot pepper challenge that had everybody’s eyes watering and nose running. We aren’t sure at what age we began to wonder what we could dare ourselves to drink but we know that the desire ended shortly after college. Now we like to focus on trying to eat a little bit healthier and drink things that won’t potentially kill us. For those of you that have the filtered water in you fridges, you can vouch that you can taste when water is “cleaner” after it has been run through a filter.
The problem with those home water filters is that they are huge and not meant to go anywhere other than your fridge. Luckily, a company called Kor has created a series of water bottles that have built-in filters that can help to remove some of those nasty impurities that we get out of regular tap water. The filter on the Kor water bottle is activated when the user takes a sip of water. That means you can place ice into the bottle and still get the great taste of filtered water at a good temperature. The cap can be popped off by pressing a button so you’re less likely to lose the top of your water bottle and the coconut shell filters water quickly so water flow isn’t an issue. Gadgets 4 Guys got lucky and was able to demo one of these water bottles and we loved the taste of the filtered water and loved the design of the water bottle too. Check it out as the price of this could make for a great gift for the holiday season. Click here for image source and where to buy the Kor Water Bottle.
