There is a dark time in every mans life that occurs when the March Madness tournament ends. We go for months being spoiled with having college football, NFL football, college basketball, and the MLB playoffs going on and having an awesome sporting event to watch at any given time. It is during these months that every man is able to take back the TV that they lost to the Real Housewives, Bachelor, Kardashians and every other terrible show that many women watch on the regular. What also happens during this time is most men are ushered to the basement TV or upstairs TV and don’t get to watch these great games on their over sized high def TV’s. What are we to do? Create a man cave that will make every man jealous and convert a garage into sports central. Some guys will just throw a TV on the wall, hang a couple of neon signs and call it done but when the winter months come around and you have icicles on your beard, you will wish you had spent a few more bucks on a heater.
We got to demo the answer to all of your subzero man cave problems with the Versonel AC, Heater, and Dehumidifier all in one unit. All you need in order to get one of these operational is an outlet and a small window for your exhaust tube to lead out to. The unit is 14,000 BTU for cooling and 13,000 BTU for heating which is quite a bit more than most of the standard window units (that typically only produce AC). The unit can cool a room up to 600 square feet in size and has a remote to go with it so you won’t even have to get off the couch to control it. The unit is about 2.5 feet tall and 1.5 feet wide which makes it fit in most spaces. Not only do you get the AC and heating option, but if you need a dehumidifier it has that option as well. We found the AC extremely robust and the heating option strong too (you will have to wait a couple of minutes for the heater to warm up before it begins to put off heat). The setup was super easy and not hard to follow at all as most of the unit comes put together out of the package. There are a couple of different options that should take care of any situation like the “powerful” option that blows maximum AC for those hot summer months when you need it. If you don’t have a window for the exhaust, you will also have the option to saw a hole for the exhaust to lead directly outside as well. As a test, we threw this thing into a garage and had it cooled off quickly and loved the temp option to get the exact temperature we needed. If you are putting together a man cave that needs to be cooled or heated, check out this Versonel unit. It’s pretty awesome and we approve it for every sweaty or freezing guy trying to watch the games. Click here for image source. Click here to purchase the AC/Heating/Dehumidifier.
