We are not going to lie about the first thought that came into our head when we saw the MusicRocker Cube Ottoman and it was a scene from a pretty raunchy movie. The movie scene we are thinking about is from the Howard Stern Private Parts movie that involved a speaker and an attractive woman but we can’t go into more details then that. We have seen a lot of different furniture that has speakers built into to it (including those terrible cheap chairs we all had in college that had a speaker right where you put your head) but few are done well from a design perspective.
Cue the MusicRocker Cube Speaker Ottoman that has a name that basically describes what it does. This ottoman has a subwoofer and speakers built into it and a jack that allows you to plug in your MP3 player. We like the other options that MusicRocker thought of too like being able to connect up to 4 ottomans together and play the same music off of one mp3 player. That allows you to get four of these bad boy and use them as an over sized ottoman as well as four different speakers that can rock out to the newest Creed single you bought. It seems that there are a few drawbacks for the MusicRocker right now and one is the weight limit for the speaker ottoman being 240 lbs. A lot of people fall well below that mark but it would be our luck that the one person at our party over that weight limit would sit on that ottoman and it would crumble under their weight. The other downside is that we had a hard time actually locating where we could buy this in the states (it seems readily available in Germany but not in the US). We will update with more information if we find out some better options for us Americans if we find anything.
