We always seem to struggle when our phones are close to being out of battery. We can’t play Clash of Clans and risk being kicked out of our clan. We can’t tweet that really awesome joke we just thought of and now the world will miss another laugh due to a low battery. It seems silly that while we have cars that can travel on nothing but air and water, we can’t seem to come up with a smartphone that stays charged throughout the day. There are a variety of travel chargers out there but all of them seem to lack a major element: they aren’t actually travel friendly. They are too big, bulky, and don’t make sense for a person to carry around with them on a regular basis. A company has attempted to answer our grievance with the NomadClip.
The NomadClip is pretty awesome in the fact that it is in the style of a carabiner. Many of us already have a carabiner attached to their key chain or hanging somewhere in the vehicle. Why not replace the carabiner you already have with one that can double as a charger for your iPhone or other mobile devices? NomadClips have a hidden USB (or lightning) cable that seems to appear out of nowhere. You can see from the picture above that when the lightning cable is extended you can plug in you phone and the NomadClip into a power source to charge it. When you have it locked up, you can place your key chains on this to insure that you have a charger at any given time. The other great thing about the Nomad? This whole company got its start on KickStarter to get their first product funded and through that success built a brand. Click here for image source and where to buy a NomadClip.
