We have been following a very popular story closely that has developed over the past day or two. Tech blogs and lifestyle blogs alike have lit up with stories about a new product called Palcohol that recently met approval from the federal government. Palcohol is a powdered form of alcohol that you can basically add to whatever drink you have and have an instant alcoholic drink. It has developed into a story because a lot of news outlets have reported incorrect facts or stories about the creator Mark Phillips. We want to give you some more info but want to clear up some of the incorrect reporting that has been going on and hopefully shed some light on a hazy subject.
So there are some of the incorrect facts being reported by a lot of the news organizations. Let’s take a look at what Palcohol is and some of the benefits we might be able to see from this impressive product (Gadgets 4 Guys encourages you to drink responsibly whether it is Palcohol or any other alcoholic beverage). Palcohol is basically taking a margarita and turning it into a powder and keeping the alcoholic content. What does this mean for the consumer? You can enjoy a beverage by simply adding Palcohol to water or any other drink and you don’t have to carry around a 30 pack to do so. The package weighs about an ounce so you can enjoy a drink after a five mile hike in the middle of nowhere or going to Mexico and being able to take your own booze (and not have to worry about bottles breaking). For some reason there is a lot of backlash from people saying that Palcohol will encourage people to binge drink but we don’t see it being any different than somebody abusing any other type of alcohol. We wouldn’t be surprised if the “people” mad about this product were the same people that saw massive profits from $15 beers at NFL stadiums and are a little scared that innovation could cause their wallet to take a hit… Click here for image source and where to learn more about Palcohol.
