You know what is embarrassing? When you and your coworkers decide to randomly start making some paper airplanes and throwing them at each other over the cubicle wall and you can’t make a halfway decent paper airplane. You try and tell them, “it’s a trick airplane guys! It does tricks!” but we really know that is code for “I make sucky paper airplanes”. We don’t have to worry about that at Gadgets 4 Guys though because we put everybody in our office through a strict regiment of paper airplane design courses to insure that we are all allowed to keep our man card for a year. However, we always appreciate innovation here and we were able to find it via the company PowerUp. They created an electric paper plane converter kit which allows even the worst of paper airplanes to get some airtime.
PowerUp created this awesome little kit which touts you get 30 seconds of flight duration off of a simple 20 second charge. So it isn’t like those stupid electronic helicopters that require a 30 minute charge and give you 2 minutes of flight time. The other downside to those stupid electronic helicopters is that if you crash one (which is guaranteed to happen in the first 30 minutes of purchasing it) you will break it and it will be completely useless. You might as well just throw a $20 bill down the toilet. The Paper Plane Electric Converter Kit will allow you a much more broad flexibility in that if you own paper, you will have something to fly. It is much cheaper and has a longer shelf life too. We like the experimentation aspect of this product as well since there are so many paper airplane instructions on the web allowing you to be creative in how you use the electronic aspect. Imagine flying “The Stealth” design with this little engine strapped to it. It could probably fly over a mountain or something (hopefully you all picked up on the Uncle Rico reference there).
PowerUp has got a winner here and we really want to try this bad boy out. Hopefully we will get a few to have around in the office and see how well they work. Gadgets 4 Guys will update this post accordingly if we do!
