The news of the iPhone 7 has everybody going nuts. The phone is sold out everywhere and by all accounts will be another successful phone launch by Apple. One of the bigger pieces of news that came out with this launch is that the old headphone jacks that 90’s kids everywhere grew up with are now going away. There were many that had complaints about this but we would like to point out another gripe about the iPhone: your charger cords are weak.
Many in the Gadgets 4 Guys office have kids between 10 months and 2 years old which means nothing that is under two feet is sacred. Everything will likely get ripped, pulled apart, or eaten. Often, the iPhone charging wire gets a lot of attention from these toddler terrors and within DAYS of them starting to mess with the cord, it was broke. We love Apple products as much as the next but when they sacrifice reinforcing the wire due to design aesthetics, parents everywhere get screwed. Fortunately for you all we’ve found the answer: Paracable.
Paracable provides both Lightning cables and micro USB cables that are wrapped in paracord and focuses on durability and longevity of the product. Why should you get a Paracord instead of just going with another stock Apple cable?
Paracable sent us a free demo of their product to try out and we could tell we were going to love it when we pulled it out of the bag. You can tell instantly when you feel the charger cable that it was built with high quality materials and should last a long time. The design was awesome (our personal favorite was the Gecko design) and they actually come in at 5 feet long. This is important because anybody that has tried to charge a phone in bed while being on it knows that the stock cable iPhones come with don’t provide that much length.
We loved the Paracable’s durability, design, and length which is why we highly recommend them to anybody looking for a new charger cable. If you are expecting or already have a baby that is under 6 months: do yourself a favor and just get one of these now. You’ll thank us later. Click here to buy the Paracable.
