Sitting around and playing games with groups of friends is always fun but the games can kind of become repetitive. How many times have you played Circle of Death or Apples to Apples? Too many. This “board game” offers a brand new approach and fun way to group gaming. They actually have created a game that taps into and monitors your heart beat. The entire basis of the winner and loser is focused all around the heartbeat and which player can get the other’s up high enough to lose.
The game should be coming out soon but they have given us a sneak peek of what we might see as possible game situations. There are three types of challenges you will go through: mind, body, and duel. While we assume that those games are all going to be fun, we have a much better idea for using it as a great “consumption” game. We see this game being modified to allowing each person 30 seconds to try and “crack” the other competitor by saying anything and everything under the sun. Moms, sisters, and even Grandma’s would be fair game for the competitors to say stuff about and try to send the other person’s pulse through the roof. It might be a tough game for those that drink Red Bull but fun nonetheless. They also talk about how the games will require people to do a physical activity with the band monitor on you (like 30 jumping jacks, etc.).
Pulse on it’s own looks to be a very fun game on its own. We anticipate this game being taken to the next level by college students across the United States. There probably needs to be some boundaries setup by you and your friends before you start this modified consumption game so somebody doesn’t takes things too far with their comments trying to make the pulse go up.
