Artwork can be very subjective. If you went back to your college days, you saw artwork in the form of that Pamela Anderson poster where she has an American flag draped around her. If you go back to high school, you might consider that Sisqo “Enter the Dragon” poster as a modern day Picasso. If you ask your grandparents what they believe is a really inspirational piece of artwork, they might say their picture of the kitten holding onto rope with the words “Hang in There” underneath. If you have some hipster friends, they probably have a photo or two taken by somebody deemed “genius” that is nothing more than a picture of a plastic bag in a parking lot. The point is that it is a rare thing when a majority of people from a variety of backgrounds can look at a piece of artwork and agree it is something truly amazing. Gadgets 4 Guys may have just found one of those artists.
Jim Dingilian has taken empty liquor bottles he finds on the side of the road and actually fills them up with smoke. The smoke darkens the bottle and actually turns into Dingilian’s canvas. He begins to manipulate the smoke into remarkable images that range from outdoor scenes to images of cities. The smoke creates a very cool aura around every image he does and it also makes the incredible art he produces even more amazing that it was done by etching into smoke. He has also taken aluminum beer cans, sanded and sculpted them down, and etched inspiring images into them as well. He doesn’t hide the materials he uses (you can clearly see the brand of beer cans he uses) which adds to the grittiness of the artwork too. You don’t need to have a fancy accent to appreciate this artwork and we have officially deemed it as Gadgets 4 Guys approved. Click here for image source and where to buy.
