The days where we used to buy a giant oversized safe that basically required a blood test in order to get into it are over. There are some things that men appreciate and love that we never want to part with. It is probably a watch that our grandfather gave us or our father’s handgun that he passed down. Safes aren’t cost effective because a cheap safe will make it too easy to steal from and an expensive one is… expensive. The smaller things that you have (watches, cash, etc.) might not require a giant safe either and an awesome hiding spot is much better.
Gadgets 4 Guys found a surge protector that isn’t actually a surge protector at all. The outlets break down and there is actually a hidden sleeve within the surge protector that allows you to place valuables within it. The size is definitely smaller so you won’t be able to place large objects within it but a burglar won’t ever guess that there is a wad of cash in the surge protector (unless burglars read G4G which is highly likely). The other nice thing is that you can actually plug in a few batteries within this and the switch will actually glow red making it seem like a regular ho hum outlet. We all know that Fancy has just about everything under the sun but when we saw this, we knew it was the best hiding spot out there. Gadgets 4 Guys is hoping that they will hopefully be adding a new feature that will lock and unlock the safe based upon a random combination of how many outlets are used. The gadget is also nice because you can actually plug items into the outlets (but unfortunately they aren’t power producing). Stop hiding your stuff in the top drawer of your nightstand where every burglar knows where to look, just throw it into the Surge Protector Safe. Click here for image source and where to buy.
