Our fathers grew up listening to music like Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Doors, and a bunch of other singers and bands that truly put out some great music. What is some of the inspirational bands that influenced us growing up? Chumbawumba, Hanson, Backstreet Boys, etc. We might be exaggerating a little bit but it is tough to admit that music from that era was leaps and bounds better than our music that raised us up through middle school and high school. If it hadn’t been for Nirvana, Tupac, and Eminem we would probably still be pelvic thrusting to NSync. We can’t go back to the future and bring Dylan back to his prime but we can do it with some of the speakers that date back almost that far by using The Vamp.
The Vamp is a great Bluetooth gadget that was invented by Paul Cocksedge (yes, we chuckle a bit too) who is an amazing designer that creates a completely different approach with everything he does. The Vamp is small and will actually transform your old speakers into something usable again by plugging it into the vamp. The nice thing about the Vamp is that you can actually still control all of the music from your smartphone which makes new technology get applied to those outdated speakers you have a bunch of dust lying on in the basement. The Vamp is actually a current KickStarter campaign and it isn’t surprising that Paul Cocksedge has created another product that people are super excited about (they tripled their goal). We want to warn people that Vamp might not work with every old speaker you have so make sure you take that into account. Watch the video and see the plugin and decide if it is worth getting for your house. The price tag is great, the design is awesome, and the idea behind it is great. We are excited to see this gadget go into product and hit the mainstream. Click here for image source and where to buy.
