Wearable technology is everywhere. We are all going to become Google Glass wearing nerds with our fitness bands, smart shoes, iWatches, and smart shirts (not sure what that is yet but we know it will happen soon). We cannot escape it and a lot of the tech gadgets we see coming out that are wearable actually have some very cool upsides. They will have to continue to work on the look of these but we have located a very cool wearable bracelet that has a KickStarter campaign (already fulfilled) and has put a very different spin on the typical fitness bracelet monitor.
W/Me is a cool interpretation of what has become a sea of fitness bracelets that measure heart beats and typical data that analyzes calories burned to look at the quality of your life. How in the world do they look at the quality of your life? They have developed a “dry electrode” that can measure electricity signals in your body. The reason we use “dry” in our description is because that technology is unique to the W/Me (they have a patent pending). Normally, these electrodes require you to use jelly but they quickly realized nobody wants to wipe themselves down with jelly to get a reading on the quality of their life (imagine that visual). So with that awesome technology they are able to measure:
W/Me had a $100k goal which it has already destroyed but there are still some early options for those that are interested in getting one of these bands. You have the ability to review your history whenever you want and see your progress being made (and the setbacks like that awkward first date you went on). Contribute to their campaign and get one of these. Click here for image source and where to buy.
