Summer is officially here. In Kansas, we are dealing with high humidity, shirts that become instantly sweaty when you step outside, and can lose five pounds by spending a day outside. The only thing that can solve the Summer time blues is to have a cold drink ready at any given time. The only vessel that can get you these cold beverages are coolers. Coolers have recently begun to see some recent innovations but for the most part you have a couple of choices. You can get the flimsy, non-plastic coolers that only hold 6 bottles in them or you can get the giant plastic coolers that are impossible to lug around. The people have been crying for a cooler that is flexible, doesn’t take up much room, and won’t rip apart after a dozen uses.
We stumbled across a company called Yeti that makes coolers that will stand up to the type of person that hikes across the country or fishes in the deepest seas. These guys got sick of always having coolers that had handles break or latches coming off of the coolers that they bought. So they made coolers that matched up to the heavy duty requirements they needed and people have followed them in this endeavor. Their latest cooler is one called the Yeti Hopper 30 and it is a smaller cooler that has some flex to it but they plan to build it with a very durable material. It won’t be like the cheap beer coolers you get for $5 in the liquor store, but one that will be able to stand the test of time. We don’t have a ton more details to share because the cooler hasn’t fully launched but the cooler will be released soon enough. Yeti has a lot of coolers (upwards of 20) that even have collegiate options so we encourage you to check out all of their apparel and gear.
